Mfantsipim Wins NSMQ 2025: Fourth National Title and Back to Back Championship Victory

Mfantsipim School has won the 2025 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz, securing their fourth national title and successfully defending their championship crown.

The NSMQ 2025 grand finale brought together three academic heavyweights: Mfantsipim School, St. Augustine’s College, and Opoku Ware School. After an intense contest marked by speed, accuracy, and composure, Mfantsipim emerged champions with 56 points.

St. Augustine’s College placed second with 42 points, while Opoku Ware School finished with 29 points.

How Mfantsipim Secured the NSMQ 2025 Victory

Mfantsipim set the tone early in the General Questions round, scoring 20 points ahead of their competitors, who both recorded 17 points.

The Speed Race increased the pressure, but the Saints remained tactically disciplined. In the Problem of the Day, a Biology question involving DNA paternity testing required both precision and strong scientific explanation. Although all three schools identified the correct answer, Mfantsipim’s detailed reasoning earned them maximum advantage.
