MOBA’s core values reflect who we are and how we serve-each other, our school, and our communities. Rooted in tradition but focused on the future, our T-H-I-I-P values guide our actions and keep the brotherhood strong and purposeful.
T – Transparency – MOBA values Transparency as the hallmark of keeping the alumni bound and fostering the participation from members and well-wishers. MOBA strives to promote this value throughout its governance structures to foster brotherhood and understanding.
H – Honesty and Boldness – Alumni treasure the value of uprightness of character or action and are to have an active regard for the standards of their profession, calling, or position. This honesty is to buttress with confidence in the rectitude of their actions.
I – Inclusiveness – MOBA seeks to be inclusive in its mobilization and activities. Internally MOBA members should not be marginalized. The spirit of inclusiveness is enshrined in the MOBA constitution with provisions for associates and honorary members. MOBA aims to build a future that is inclusive, prosperous, and sustainable.
I – Innovation – In the spirit of “Dwen Hwe Kan” MOBA members inculcate the values of foresight and creativity in problem solving and results achievement.
P – Pragmatism – MOBA alumni value pragmatism with an emphasis on the practicality and usefulness of ideas, policies, and proposals.
